ate, ait, eight
Eight weeks in. Been trying to look at all the positives on being home for this long period of time. It is a huge change when you’re used to traveling every week for the past decade. Even the little things like getting a “break” during flights to recover. Hadn’t thought of that until talking to a co-worker about change. I did use that hour+ time for myself to break from the stresses of the week and need to find another way to supplement the “me time”.
One thing I want to better understand is where both parties are approaching this situation. Where do they currently stand specifically and what do they have to gain with their objective or lose with the opposition? People are at the core of both equations. Is there a way to achieve both objectives?
I am also curious how slowly/quickly people will be to the change back to “normal”. My assumption/guess is that we will quickly avert back to where we were before all this happened. There will be the exceptions (some people will change quicker while other a lot slower) but could see most of the general public will be going about their day-to-day within 2020. It is then seeing how that will impact overall numbers and trends.
Currently watching: The Last Dance via ESPN/Netflix - All caught up and ready for the next 2 episodes to be released today. This is now the most watched documentary easily surpassing Tiger King (what got released at the start of this whole situation). As a sports fan, this is definitely what I need. I am enjoying how they’re breaking down each key player in each episode and outlining the drama that was occurring for each of them.
Currently listening: Shuffle Syndrome via Spotify - Back to my EDM/electronic mixes. Need that beat to keep things pushing.
Currently reading: Moonwalking with Einstein by Joshua Foer - No progress. 😞
