Walking into my fourth week of “remote work”. Definitely getting into my groove although missing the travel lifestyle. I think I’ve been able to figure out my “work cadence” as well as my “meal plan”. The only thing I need to work back in will be my workout plan which I haven’t had really done since heading out to NYC for the weekend. I’ve had one reason or another for not starting up but planning to “rest up” another week to get my leg feeling better before starting up again. Looking forward to be able to cycle (starting off indoors for the interim) and then will need to figure out some sort of HIIT workout I can do 3x/week. Then I think I’ll be fully integrated into the “WFH lifestyle”.
It’s crazy how we’ve gotten to this point. We’re just a little over a month into our first reported cases and gone from less than 100 to over 300k in the US. I’m glad to have escaped NYC during this time as I’m sure that it’s chaotic over there. I can’t wait for things to get back to normal and not have to be concerned about this getting around. Personally, I know I’ll be changing my “travel habits” and will be wearing masks more on the norm. Curious how this will impact the travel industry (in the long run) - will they stop tours, will they seat less people at restaurants, will they hold off on opening or expanding exhibits?
Currently watching: Ugly Delicious via Netflix - and missing exploring and experiencing food
Currently listening: Bill Simmons Podcast / The Joe Rogan Experience - been shifting more to the the long form podcasts to have in the background (don’t have to listen as closely but catch tidbits here and there)
Currently reading: ESPN - it’s weird because I haven’t checked my ESPN app for a few weeks now and feel like I’m behind on sports (I’m not) > happy for KG, Duncan, and Kobe for their nods into the NBA HOF.
